Styrax japonicus 'Emerald Pagoda' Japanese Snowbell
'Emerald Pagoda' is an upright, vase-shaped deciduous tree that is rather slow growing. In ten years, this cultivar will grow to 10 feet tall with a spread of 8 feet. 'Emerald Pagoda', has some of the largest blooms of the species and is sweetly fragrant. This elegant tree can reach heights of 30 feet tall and 20 feet wide once mature. A colorful addition to the fall garden with golden-yellow leaves. This would make an excellent patio tree, where its interesting bark and fragrant flowers can be seen up close. It is a great choice where a small, low canopy tree is desired.
